Can’t believe that SPY crashed below it’s 3 day simple moving average on the same day I decided to take a drive in the country. I’m cautiously optimistic that western civilization will survive.
I was happy that SeekingAlpha didn’t change the name of my article, Turn $1 Into $2500 In 10 Years With 3x Bulls. Have to admit that number is difficult to grasp. If you double your money every year for 10 years, the value of $1 comes out to 1024 (2 to the 10th power). Doubling it again in the 11th year is 2048 which gets closer to the 2500 area code. I had the idea of doing the article on TQQQ because I noticed it was getting close to 1000x, SOXL wasn’t part of that test, so when I ran it with SOXL, the 23xx number was a surprise.
